When Judge Roll was assassinated, Rep. Gabby Giffords was shot in the head, an attempted assassination. It appeared that there was no motive behind it, but is anyone ever assassinated in such a fashion for no reason? Aren’t there always reasons why public assassinations such as this take place? Can you recall a single assassination or attempted assassination in which the shooter had no motive, or was simply mentally ill? No. Me neither.
So when “Fast and Furious” unfolded two weeks later, am I the only person who wondered if there was some connection between the two? No, I’m not. I’ve read speculation that Giffords was scheduled to meet with Judge Roll to discuss Fast and Furious and that this was why Giffords and Roll were shot. Then I found this:

Speculation, you see, was immediate. Follow-up by our own government, however, was nil. I’m not in the business of investigating crimes like the FBI, CIA and NSA are, but our government crime investigation agencies are, and apparently they haven’t investigated this assassination fully. They haven’t publicly reported anything remotely resembling even suspicion in Gabby Giffords’ assassination attempt.
Intelligent Americans might ask themselves “Why isn’t the government investigating this report that Judge Roll was scheduled to meet with Rep. Giffords to discuss Fast and Furious?” In fact, intelligent Americans might even jump to the logical and immediate conclusion that the reason our government isn’t investigating the connection between these two incidences is because our government might already have all the information there is to know. My suspicion is whether our government, specifically Eric Holder’s Justice
Department and ATF, was involved in hiring Loughner to assassinate these two people.
How could anyone not wonder such a thing? It makes sense. Two weeks after this assassination, Fast and Furious became public knowledge. It seems not only reasonable that Giffords’ shooting was intended to keep F&F secret, but it seems obvious. Do the math: Giffords was to meet with Rolls to discuss information Giffords purportedly had that would expose the F&F operation. If Eric Holder had known that F&F was about to become public, is it logical that he might do whatever he could to keep F&F a secret? Of course. In light of other government sponsored assassinations in the past, it seems likely.
What was at stake if F&F were exposed? Eric Holder’s job was at stake. The Obama administration’s reputation was at stake. To kill the two people who had discovered F&F would silence them forever and send a message to whoever gave Giffords the information originally that “You’re next if you speak up again”. In fact, what happened to the person(s) who told Gabby Giffords about F&F? Why haven’t they come forward, the next day even? If it were me, I would have called Fox News immediately after Giffords and Roll were shot to tell the media why they were shot. The only thing that would have kept me quiet, if I were the person who told Giffords about F&F, is if someone had threatened to kill me or my family too.
But no one has spoken up about this. No one has come forward. Why not? Why hasn’t the FBI investigated this likely connection and reported publicly about it?
Oh, and Giffords’ retirement? Give me a break. I’ve seen her videos since the shooting. The media keeps trying to present her as virtually fully recovered, but it’s clear that she has suffered brain damage and that her communication skills are far below what they once were, probably more like the level of a 4 or 5 year old girl. Nothing has been said about that, has it? Did I miss those news stories about how much brain damage she’s sustained? I haven’t seen a word about it.
Is this just the government and the media manipulating public opinion again? Painting a picture that just isn’t true, like they did with Jerod Loughner and the Judge Roll/Giffords shooting? Are we going to continue to put up with this crap? Are the rest of us that afraid, that no one will say anything about any of this? Really?!?
I’m afraid so.
By the way, the probable reason Giffords is retiring is because she cannot do her job any longer. She likely sustained too much brain damage from that shooting and is too seriously affected to do her job. The media downplays her brain damage to the point where they clearly want us to believe there isn’t any. It’s obvious.
And another thing: I heard somewhere that Nancy Pelosi, not Giffords’ husband, was the first person in the room to see Giffords after Giffords woke up. The word is that Pelosi charged in there before the media in order to make sure Giffords didn’t remember anything about the appointment she had with Judge Roll. It looks like the brain damage was extensive enough that she couldn’t remember a thing. Perhaps that’s why she’s still alive. That was just a rumor, however. The media didn’t film the first person going in to see Giffords, did they? It was big news. I wonder why they didn’t have cameras ready to film Nancy going in to check on Gabby.
I’m curious that way.
So why isn’t the media reporting any of this? Why aren’t there any investigational reporters all over this story, trying to confirm or deny the suspicions and/or allegations around this assassination? Why didn’t the media say a single word about any of this when Fast and Furious unfolded two weeks after the assassination and these reports connecting F&F, Gabbie and Judge Roll began?
Like the Kennedy assassinations and the MLK assassination, I can’t help but suspect that our government knows more about all of this than they’ve admitted… a lot more.
